Welcome to SCS!

We are so glad you are joining our school family! There are so many fun ways to get involved at Scofield Christian School. We hope that these tips give you a great start to a wonderful year!

Follow the Scofield Christian School Parent-Teacher Fellowship (SCS PTF)

Our PTF consists of all parents and teachers at our school, and it exists to promote the philosophy and goals of SCS by providing a vehicle of communication between parents, teachers and administrators. Our main goals are to organize and sponsor social events for the SCS families, and to show appreciation and support of our teachers and staff.

Signups

There are always tons of opportunities to contribute at our school! Many of them are as simple as blowing up balloons for an event, bringing water bottles for an outdoor event or helping in the lunchroom on Fridays so teachers can have a break. Most of our sign-ups are done through Sign Up Genius and can always be found on this page. If you are on a mobile phone, just click the sign-up icon.

We have many places to get you plugged in around our school! Whether it is planning an event, supporting teachers, or working behind the scenes, the PTF cannot exist without you! Please let us know how you would best like to serve our school by filling out the form on this page and we will reach out to you.

Uniforms

All uniforms can be ordered through LANDS END. Once you are on the Lands End site - you can search for the school and select Scofield. Enter the gender and grade and it will show you the options for your child. They frequently run sales - so be on the lookout for those before you order. There is also a physical store location at Park Lane if you want to try on sizes.

There is a Facebook uniform resale page - this is great to join and grab some gently used (or sometimes new) uniform items! Right after school ends, there tends to be an influx of people selling as they buy for the next year.

SCS Spirit Wear

We also have a spirit shop! scsptf.org/shop Your student will be able to wear a spirit shirt every Friday. Make sure to follow us on social media so you will be notified when new spirit wear items are released. This is also where you can get the cute hair bows, socks and other fun SCS gear! The Scofield Christian School's FACTS Family app is a one-stop shop for our school community, with password-protected access to the FACTS Student Information System to view attendance, grades, and homework, and the FACTS Financial system to pay tuition and incidental charges. Lunch Ordering

Scofield Christian School partners with Schoolhouse Fare to provide our lunch program. The menu offers a broad variety from local restaurants and is delivered to the school daily. Find more details here. https://www.scofieldchristianschool.org/lunch.

Classroom Coordinator

Your child's class will be assigned one or two parents who will serve as classroom coordinators. These volunteers are responsible for communicating information to classes from your teacher as well as letting you know about school and PTF sponsored events. Make sure you get added to the class GroupMe or text thread that your classroom coordinator creates for your class. This will be the main way you get any information you will need throughout the year.

Birthday Sign Marquee

Wish your child a happy birthday on our electronic sign! $20/announcement. Order here with at least 48 hours notice.

Sign and Go Parties

Sign and Go Parties are events that brings Scofield families together for fun and fellowship while also raising money for our school. Still have questions about how they work? Learn more here and make sure to follow us on social media to stay up to date with all of the fun events planned throughout the school year!

Spirit Nights

We partner with local restaurants throughout the year to hold give back nights. Each participating restaurant will donate a portion of the "Scofield sales" back to our school! Don't forget to mention that you are with Scofield. Stay tuned as we schedule these throughout the year. Spirit night events will be advertised on our social media pages.

Boo My Yard

During October, you will have the opportunity to purchase "BOO!" yard signs and candy for your own yard or to surprise a friend! You'll never know when the BOO will arrive! More details to come this fall. Details about Boo My Yard can be found here.

Parents in Prayer

We meet every Wednesday morning from 8:00-8:30 am right before chapel to pray for our school. We will specifically pray for each child over the course of the year as well as any prayer requests that we receive. Come join us! Click here for this year's prayer calendar and schedule.

Teachers and Staff Christmas Love Bonus

THis is our favorite holiday tradition! The PTF collects donations as you feel led, then presents them to our teachers and staff as a "Christmas (Love) Bonus" to show our gratitude to them for coming alongside us as we raise and teach our children. Details can be found here closer to the holidays.

Dads Club

The mission of our Dads Club is to promote the presence of fathers and father-figures in the lives of our children in a way that models the sacrificial and servant leadership of Jesus Christ. Every Scofield dad or father-figure is a member of the Dads Club Community, and participating is a wonderful way to make a real difference in the lives of our children. The Dads Club currently participates in Carpool takeover (sign up here!) each Friday morning, helps with individual classroom projects, serves at the annual Sweetheart Dance, and is available for other projects on an as-needed basis. The dads also meet at least once per semester for a social event.
